Negotiation is a key diplomatic tool where parties communicate to find mutually acceptable solutions to conflicts or coordinate joint action. In international relations, negotiation is used for peace agreements, trade deals, ceasefire terms, and humanitarian access.
Effective negotiation requires communication, compromise, and understanding of each party’s interests. It can be bilateral (between two states) or multilateral (through UN forums or peace conferences).
