Forces always come in pairs called interaction pairs. When two objects interact, each exerts an equal and opposite force on the other.
For example, when you push a wall, the wall pushes back with equal force.
This is Newton’s third law: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Examples: Gravity between Earth and Moon, thrust and drag on a rocket.
